Find a Home

Cedar Care owns and operates homes in Bristol, Bath and Cheshire that specialise primarily in providing care and services to older people.

Elderly care at Cedar Care ranges from residential where people are assisted in their daily living, to nursing care where clinical medical conditions require the management of health risks. Whether or not a person has dementia and / or mental disorders, we believe that continuity in familiar surroundings with familiar faces is crucial to maintain well-being.

The needs of people often change; with this in mind, we have developed our homes so that the changing needs of our Residents can be met either in the same home or in another of our homes within close proximity, but more importantly within standard assessment, management and care delivery practices.

Many of our homes have dedicated general, dementia and / or mental disorder wings so that care can be focused in meeting diverse needs whilst facilitating a smooth transfer to appropriate care services as needs change.

We seek to broaden options and choices: to enable people to maintain and maximise their remaining abilities and to remain socially active, without being disadvantaged by the pre-set limitations of provision in the community.

In all of our homes we can facilitate:

  • Long or short term care
  • Respite or convalescence
  • Placement whilst waiting for specialist external assessment for a permanent care package.

In our nursing homes, we can facilitate all of the above and:

  • Hospital admission avoidance
  • Continuing Healthcare for people with complex or unpredictable needs
  • Palliative and end of life care.
